Tamara
Marie has been involved in the arts for as long as she can remember. She has
explored many different mediums and wasn't quite sure of what to do with her
life. One day she received a phone call from her father saying that this woman,
this silversmith on Gabriola Island was teaching people the art and was immediately
interested. She decided to jump into it with both feet and move from the main
land and the life she knew to Vancouver Island to follow this dream.
She met with Lindsay Godfrey of Mudge Island Studios, a renowned and talented master silversmith. She instantly had an artistic connection with her and soon after went straight to work. Tamara knew that she would go very far under her wing and will always strive to make her proud. After one year of exceptional one-on-one schooling, Tamara felt ready to take on the world of jewelry making and sales.
She's not chasing her destiny anymore, she has found a life long dream of
having a career in the arts. Now she can say that she has created her destiny
and is looking forward to seeing were life takes her.
